On October 16, 2025, the Korean Association of Implant Dentistry (KAID) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BOK at the company’s headquarters in Bupyeong to establish a partnership for mutual academic and industrial collaboration. The agreement aims to promote academic exchange and industrial development in the areas of dental implantology and conscious sedation, focusing on research, education, and clinical applications of related equipment and materials. BOK is a leading dental company in Korea, operating over 230 local dental clinics equipped with conscious sedation facilities, while maintaining partnerships with 45 university hospitals and more than 1,200 private dental clinics nationwide. The company has achieved an annual revenue exceeding 7 billion KRW, and is widely recognized for its outstanding expertise in supplying dental instruments, implant biomaterials, and sedation systems. Through this agreement, BOK plans to expand the distribution and utilization of implant and sedation-related devices and materials, while strengthening joint research initiatives that contribute to academic advancement. KAID anticipates that BOK’s extensive clinical experience, technical expertise, and nationwide network will play a significant role in enhancing the Association’s academic research and educational infrastructure.Following the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations held a cordial meeting, during which they shared their visions for the future of dental science and reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration and mutual growth.
