Leading the Field of Dentistry,
We Aspire to Be Korea’s Premier Association

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the
Korean Academy of Implant Dentistry (KAID).

Dear all members of the Korean Academy of Implant Dentistry (KAID), valued partners, and all visitors to our website, I extend my sincere gratitude and a warm welcome.

The Korean Academy of Implant Dentistry (KAID) was founded in 1976 and launched its inaugural academic conference under the leadership of our first president and executive committee. In 2025, this year marks the significant 50th anniversary of the academy, and next year will be our 51st anniversary. Therefore, we are planning to hold a 50th anniversary celebration in 2026. Having led the advancement of implant dentistry for half a century, our society is now preparing for further progressive changes to meet the demands of a new era.

Going forward, KAID will uphold the traditions and values of the past while breaking away from its existing operational methods to transform into a global academic platform that commands global attention. The new fiscal year begins on 1 January, and the composition of the board of academic directors and the congresses of academic events will be innovated to become more dynamic and open. In particular, we plan to establish an online system that accepts credit card and electronic payments rather than cash, and to launch and develop an internationalized website in both Korean and English. This will enable us to showcase the excellence of Korean implants and endogenous grafting materials worldwide, while also fostering a global, academic online network where young dental professionals from Korea and abroad can share and disseminate our updated knowledge.

To ensure the financial sustainability of the society, we will strengthen activities focused on academia, overcome the limitations of operations based on membership fees, and re-establish transparent and dynamic management practices, without concealing the true nature of the society's operations. We will work with our partners to build a true partnership where we can share academic values and foster mutual growth, going beyond mere support. Furthermore, rather than simply making unreasonable requests, we will strive to provide each other with genuine support. We do not engage in dumping or commercial practices, but rather, we aim for academic excellence based on scientific evidence and clinical ethics regarding implants and other internal transplants.

KAID will continue to uphold there principles and develop into an exemplary dental academic community. We ask for your continued interest and support, and we sincerely hope you will join us on KAID's journey over the next year and a half, and beyond, into the next 50 years.

Hope to see all of you in our well prepared congress, soon.
