The Korean Academy of Implant Dentistry (KAID), founded in 1976, has led the advancement of implantology in Korea for the past 50 years. Marking its 50th anniversary in 2025, KAID aims to uphold its traditions while embracing innovation to become a global academic platform. Key initiatives include strengthening academic-driven activities, introducing online payment and bilingual (Korean-English) international websites, ensuring transparent management, and fostering genuine academic-industry partnerships. The organizational structure will consist of six academic divisions—research, imaging & AI, periodontal, maxillofacial, prosthodontic, and general dentistry & special care—laying the foundation for the next 50 years of growth and global recognition of Korean implantology
