As part of the historical exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Korean Academy of Implant Dentistry (KAID), we are pleased to introduce the academy’s very first logo design, created in 1975.
In the mid-1970s, when many medical standards were still unclear and implant dentistry was in its early stages, this logo was designed in English based on implant concepts that had already been introduced in the United States. It represents the formative vision that eventually led to the establishment of the academy.
Also presented are the original documents from the first founding meeting held on October 1, 1975, including the meeting records, the list of founding members, and the draft version of the academy’s bylaws.
As these materials mark the noble beginning of implant dentistry in Korea, we are honored to share them with all KAID members and visitors to the academy.
