KAID announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PAID to strengthen international cooperation during its 50th Anniversary International Scientific Meeting, held on March 28. This agreement was established to further promote the excellence of Korea’s implant technology on the global stage and to foster the shared growth of implant dentistry across Asia.

■ Strategic Three-Year Partnership: From Academic Exchange to Human Resource Collaboration
Through this MOU, the two organizations will establish a close cooperative framework over the next three years. The principal areas of collaboration include academic and research exchange; cooperation in international scientific meetings and educational programs; exchange of speakers and educational personnel; and cooperation in joint research and clinical advancement. In particular, both parties plan to strengthen their global network through jointly hosted academic events and collaborative scholarly publications.

KAID President Soung Min Kim stated, “This agreement will serve as an important milestone in positioning our academy, with its 50-year history, as a pioneer in advancing K-implants onto the global stage.” He further emphasized, “Based on mutual respect and trust, we will further solidify Korea’s leadership not only in the Philippines but also across the global implant market.”

This MOU is expected to evolve into a long-term partnership through continued mutual consultation between the two organizations, and it is anticipated to serve as an important catalyst for elevating the clinical standards of the implant dentistry community throughout Asia.
